Debbie Peiser began her career in film and television production over 20-years ago as a hair and makeup artist working on influential projects such as The Americans (FX), Nurse Jackie (Showtime), Ocean’s 8 (Warner Bros) and more.

After returning to Los Angeles from New York City, Debbie began producing high end campaigns for lines such as Abercrombie & Fitch and with world renowned photographers such as Annie Leibowitz.  These new skills led Debbie back to film and television when she produced the feature film, Rehab Cabin, starring Colin Quinn which made rounds on the 2021 festival circuit.

Debbie’s background as an established film and television hairstylist positioned her for a smooth transition to directing and producing as she knows how to work with actors on character study and development. She is able to reckon with the needs of crew, production and cast members seamlessly.

In 2020, Debbie created an around the world anthology series with two partners called Interconnected starring Emma Thompson, Drea De Matteo, Chris Redd and others. Debbie wrote and directed several episodes of Interconnected.

Debbie was accepted into the Sundance Co//lab courses where she studied directing with Harrison James and producing with Simone Ling, Summer Shelton, and Dana Lustig.
